Every four years, we have the opportunity to select our municipal representatives. That time is October 19th here in the CBRM. We have witnessed broken promises, businesses deciding to leave, and a relationship with the province that is hanging by a thread. This election we need representatives who want to see us prosper and become our best selves. Representatives that will take a risk but be accountable.
My campaign is straightforward because I believe in simplicity. I believe in transparency, honesty, hard work, and change for the better. I’m not making any policy promises, because I know it would be impossible to uphold them. However, I promise one thing: I will fight with all my resources and energy for my community. I’m here to listen and deliver action, not a speech.
I will work to create better transit, allowing our community to be interconnected unlike before. Create town hall events, where citizens can engage in the political sphere. Help to foster a government that supports the people and embraces new developments and jump-start our bid to become a model community for governments across the country.
